They are talking about us

Le Routard mentions us!

“Stop to stroke, in the shade of l’église Notre-Dame, the little stone owl that grants all wishes if you stroke it with your left hand.

At the church’s apse, two beautiful half-timbered houses stand, including the Maison Millière, built in 1483, in front of which several scenes from the Depardieu version of Cyrano de Bergerac were filmed. Perched on its roof since the early 20th century are a cat and an owl that will make you look up at the sky.

A wonderful opportunity to discover these multicolored Burgundian roofs, designed to catch God’s eye more than that of passersby, to seek forgiveness for the misdeeds committed on Earth, as they say here.”

Excerpt from “I Love You Dijon”

This splendid stone-and-wood mansion, built in 1483 by Guillaume Millière, a cloth merchant, and his wife Guillemette, is a dream destination you simply must not miss.

Whether for a meal with friends, a gourmet snack, or a cup of tea from the far corners of the world enjoyed in a setting that blends regional products, artisanal crafts, and art exhibitions, you’ll discover an exceptional place whose many charms will delight you.

As soon as the warm weather arrives, an indoor garden, offering a touch of greenery and freshness, will provide you with the moment of relaxation and well-being you’re seeking. Both the recently renovated Maison Millière and the warm welcome from Lydia and Jean François Lieutet make this place a pure moment of happiness.

Excerpt from Côte d’Or Tourism

“Hear ye, hear ye!” Five hundred and fifteen years after Guillaume and Guillemette, one of Dijon’s oldest houses is once again inhabited.

This former shop, located in a magnificent building, is experiencing a rebirth thanks to two artisans, Lydia and Jean-François Lieutet, who fell in love with this house steeped in history, nestled in the heart of Old Dijon, watched over by Notre Dame and its owl.
